Biography

Most of you know me as the CEO of Educational Computer Conferences, Inc., and creator of the TRLD Conferences.

In the '60s I was active as a volunteer in various educational organizations, specifically in organizing educational conferences related to learning disabilities, from 1966 through 1981.

During this time I also participated in RSVP, Richmond Schools Volunteer Program, as a volunteer and later as paid staff for the school district, training volunteers and teacher aides about learning disabilities.

Serving as State President of the California Association for Learning Disabilities from 1980-1982, I was encouraged by my professional colleagues to "professionally manage conferences".

Educational Computer Conferences, Inc., was "born" in 1982, and the TRLD conferences ("Technology, Reading & Learning Difficulties") were created.

In 1996 while I was re-landscaping my garden, front and back, I discovered that I have a green thumb and I have become an avid gardener.

Since selling the TRLD conference in 2004, I use my free time to pursue lots of interests that have been on "hold". I read a lot, bought a digital camera, and I plan to travel more (I'll post the most interesting pictures at this site). I'm pursuing new interests and will share my discoveries with you.
